Goal Shoot Day 1: New Delhi 12/22/2009
Teenage girls certainly have a lot to say about their lives! My favorite quote of the day came in the last interview of the morning. The question was: Have you learned anything from your teammates, anything that could be used in the rest of your life? : And the response: "maine apne doston se sikha hai ki kisi se ladai nahi karni chahiyen, jaghda nahi karna chahiyen aur pyar se baat karni chahiyen sabse." Or, "my friends (teammates) have taught me that we should not quarrel, and we should not fight, instead we should speak to each other with love!" Truly a lesson for life! @Goalgirlsglobal on Twitter JustMeans and Journeys for Change contest deadline has been extended by a few more days. We could really use some more votes and comments. Any ideas about how we can reach out to a few more people? http://bit.ly/wbPs9 Last night we entered the Just Means Contest to win a trip on the India Social Entrepreneurship Journey. This is a fantastic opportunity to interact with social entrepreneurs in Mumbai and Bangalore with an interesting group of people. Hoping this will be good inspiration for some new global rickshaw films. But we need votes! And we only have five days left! If you like our idea please vote for us and leave a comment if you like: http://www.justmeans.com/contestidea?ideaid=MTQ2 And, if you think our idea is worth spreading please pass it along to others who may be interested in supporting us! global rickshaw to attend TEDIndia! 10/08/2009
